RESTORING RANGE OF MOTION
Muscles act in pairs: while one is contracting, the opposing member of the pair must relax and vice versa. After a muscle contracts, it must relax fully to return to its original position. However, when a muscle contracts repeatedly, the relaxation phase becomes shorter and shorter, resulting in a loss of range of motion!
